What's Good – The behind-the-scenes documentary.

Capturing the dedication, ambition and joy behind the short film "What's Good" by Robeathy Corea. Published by MOVES Magazine.

One night in 2023, Robeathy Corea and Fidelio Faustino sat together crafting the vision for What's Good, a short film blending country and street aesthetics with a movement-driven energy. I followed them from first movements to the assembly of the skeleton crew and from the rehearsals with the international dance crew to the two nights of shooting. The short film and bts has been released on online platform MOVES Magazine.

The approach to this film really started with a conversation with Robeathy, understanding his artistry, the vision for the movement film and the kind of behind-the-scenes film he was looking for. Knowing the work of Robeathy and Fidelio, the film's director, this would be a history in the making.

For this project, I worked with sound designer and composer Jurriaan Kruithof. Approaching the sound design by focusing on breath, movement, and the physical pulses of dancing; building an auditory experience that reflects both the dancers fluidity and the underlying hardship of creative pursuit.
